JNBF Partnered with United Churches of the World in Providing Life Skills Training to Young People in Margibi County

The JNBF in its efforts to impact lives, partnered with the United Churches of the world ( UCOW) to provide live skills training to young people in Kakata, Margibi County. Some of the skills training carries out are: tailoring, Gari Making, sanitary materials etc. The foundation helped strengthen the capacity of the United Churches of the World (UCOW), an implementing partner of the foundation operating in Kakata, Margibi County. A building was acquired through lease, along with eigh sets of computers, and turned over to the UCOW to facilitate the training of youths in employable skills. To further empower and strengthen the training program, the foundation purchased Three Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy-Five United States Dollars ($3,375.00) worth of sanitary products, including chloral, soap, and hand sanitizers, produced by trainees of the UCOW training program and donated them to the Vahun Hospital in Vahun, Lofa County and the Jackson F. Doe Hospital in Tapita, Nimba County, as part of its campaign to fight COVID-19
