On July 13, 2024, a Medical team from the Joseph Nyuma Boakai Foundation, led by Dr. Tamba Cenbianor, Medical Director, and Eye Specialist at JNB Foundation, Habib J. Kamara conducted eye-exams on mainly windows, living within the Congo Town area in Monrovia. The exercise lasted nearly the entire day and covered 156 jobless women. The two medical experts who conducted the check found cataract (36) and refractive error (42) to be high among patients, with 11 suffering from glaucoma and 31 affected by Conjunctivitis among other illnesses. In all, at least 122 patients received eye drops, with 250 tablets and 37 eyes ointment.
