This has been my guiding philosophy throughout my public service career. Therefore, when I completed my term as Vice President of Liberia and returned to private life, I pondered on how I could continue to be of service to the less fortunate in our society and help empower communities.. The JNB Foundation was founded to fulfill this yearning desire. The primary goal is to assemble a group of capable leaders and volunteers to ensure that the next generation of leaders and communities in need receive that “helping hand “needed at the right time and place when none seems available. The gap between the haves and have-nots in our country keeps widening, but we remain resolute in our efforts to narrow this gap. We ask you to help us achieve this goal. My personal commitment to this Foundation and to you, our partners and donors, is a heartfelt appreciation for your humanitarian assistance to Liberians in need. Second, we assure you of our utmost integrity, professionalism and accountability in utilizing funds and resources donated to our Foundation for Liberians. Third, we assure you of our fidelity to the Foundation’s vision, mission, goals and objectives now and in the future. We are here to stay.
